This is a bullshit company ... I had a bad experience with Fugenx. they are not professional and their training is crappy and useless. I was cheated and lost For Rs.20,000. Nobody knows anything about protocols , all they do is show some ppt which are downloaded from internet ( freely available to anyone ) . Pls beware . you can go and check for yourself.

Prabhat wrote:Best place for training on Protocol testing in India is with subha .

He has 5 years of IT experience in the Telecom/Networking domain and has taught many people with 90% placement . I had undergone training with him 3 years ago and have been working in a Telecom MNC after that.He offers a combination of subjects like L1,L2,L3, Wireless-Wimax, GSM,GPRS,UMTS, VOIP , Scripting-Perl,Pythin etc.

You can reach him at 9886840475.

He doesn't advertise .Don't get lured with the Insitutes that advertise a lot promising 100% placement.

I have been working on Telecom Protocol testing for the last 6 yrs and also I have been following the institutes and training centers in Telecom. After analyzing the notes and course materials etc , my observation is most of the institutes in Bangalore like ones mentioned earlier are not capable of providing this course. Also, its difficult to have a Lab like we have in offices to really demonstrate to the students because a Telecom Lab is not a bunch of computers .There has to be costly equipments like you have in Telephone exchanges, Switches ,BTS etc and no insitute can really get one. There has to be licensed tools like Agilent,Anite ,EAST,INET etc for telecom protocol testing which no institutes can afford to get as the cost is in crores.

My analysis is that the best coaching is given by Mr Ravi who tells everything related to theory and projects and trains as an amateur. At least he tells about these tools very much in details so that a guy can clear the interview.I have seen his candidates getting most of the jobs in this field in various companies.Of late I have heard that he has become Senior Manager and busy with work and life and planning to stop.

The domain itself is very challenging and has good scope in future with 3G and 4G being launched. Its a great career to choose in comparision to normal application testing. My suggestion is that if you are planning a career in Telecom Testing
then try with Mr Ravi or you will be wasting time and effort.
