DO NOT TRUST them when they say a credit card is free for lifetime. They will start applying hefty amount of fees from 2nd year onwards, no matter what the card is. And if you have setup a auto-payment from your bank account, you are gone!!
I had very clearly confimed before applying for the card and the agent had said there will be absolutely no charges in lifetime. Now after 1 year my statement says Rs 2000/- annual charges!!!!
I just mailed their nodal officer about this. If matter is not sorted out immediately, I am gonna request all of you to help boycott HSBC in India and send them to their home HongKong and Sanghai.
