Homeshop18 online is pathetic crap

I thought of trying homeshop18 online shopping and as everyone warned, its realy a crap website. Unexpected errors are allover the website and the errors dont even say wats wrong.

Once I made payment and the bank account said payment successful. Their paymetn processor, billdesk also said payment successful. But homeshop18 showd payment failed. I immediately called the customer care number of homeshop18 and some lady rudely replied... "go and ask your bank about that. We did not get the payment". If you want the item, buy again.

I had to buy again as I had to get the item in 3 days and they mentioned bangalore shipping will be 2-3 days max.

Now, I got sms about both the orders received successfully and hence 2 items will be sent to me. I had raised 2 requests to cancel the "failed" order and refund my money.. and noone responded to those requests anyways.

I wonder why such crap like homeshop18 and indiatimes shopping etc making online shopping field dirty in India!!
The internet is filled with stories of credit card fraud by Indiatimes shopping people. I too was a victim. Now homeshop18, never again!

If the order has failed it may be an issue with your credit card and there is no point in blaming HomeShop18. This is like blaming your contractor for a theft in your house which you forgot to lock. Did you try ordering the same item from some other shopping site and see whether your credit card worked?. You should have at least mentioned your order no in the post above so that it would have been easy for Homeshop18 customer care to get back to you.

PS: My experience has been that Homeshop18 is a very reliable site and may be one of the best in India for getting best deals at good prices. I have ordered multiple times from HomeShop18 and in case you are interested to know few of my recent orders are 908317859, 901341311 etc.

FYI all my payments were done via internet banking. If you don't know.. internet banking is NOT same as credit card.

AND FOR THE SAKE OF HELL, WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY BUYING THE SAME ITEM FROM ANOTHER SHOPPING SITE? DONT YOU THINK THERE ARE ANY OTHER WAYS TO CHECK IF MY CREDIT CARD IS WORKING??

Customer care??? That lady said so rudely... "if you want the item, make another payment". And I made another payment. Then I raised 2 tickets to tell them there has been double payment.. prev order should not be processed.. noone has looked at those tickets yet.. and i got sms saying 2 shipments are being done.

And you think someone from that rubish cust care will read my order number from a public forum like this?? Noway, unless you are one of them!
Anyways, that was first and last experience with homeshop18...

Dude, Chill. If you are describing a genuine problem why don't you substantiate your claims with data like order nos etc, you are adding no value by making faceless claims .

I don't see any possibility how an order number on this discussion forum will help me. Unless ofcourse both the above posts are made by a single person and the person is working for homeshop18. Definitely, you are NOT a homeshop18 customer.

Also it's strange that the report is making YOU angry, where as it's me who should be angry after facing the trouble.

Well, if you prove that you have any authority over homeshop18, I will be glad to share all the order details and the message/ticket details. Else, it doesn't make any sense talking with you as I have already made my point that I or any of my friends are never ever going to visit homeshop18. Too much of time and energy already lost in this crap.

I would like to suggest you better tell your call center reps to use brain while listening to customers.

yes, there are a whole lot of complaint about homeshop. But people always write comments on a bad experience. so you cant see good experiences mentioned online. for any company
