Basically iam not from bangalore,....i work in a mnc and we settled here and presently reside in an apartment,we paln to build our own home by taking a plot,as we are new here we had no idea of the areas or rates,and many say there will be many headaches like bda approval,water problem...etc ..
so please suggest any ideas or anything that helps in this ,.,,,
Research on land rates from different real estate agencies to get ome idea. prices vary too much from place to place. a good bet is to apply for plots sold by the development authority. it takes years though.
If you are not planning to stay in bangalore for ever, dont buy. the IT boom is going to bust very soon and there will be no one to pay you much if you want to give your house on rent.

Thanku for the reply,iam not sure regarding the settlement but thought even for atleast 10 years we will be here...is it gud to go to apartments then??
